The Adult Learning Program at Literacy Mid-South provides basic education for low-literate adults. More than 250 trained volunteers provide private and group tutoring for adults who want to learn. Volunteer tutors and students meet in area libraries and other locations during the weekdays or weekends. The adult learning program at Literacy Mid-South draws upon more than thirty years of experience in community literacy education, and has received awards for excellence in programming. Our program serves adults who read on a 6th grade level or below.
